I loved the first novel in this series, Always Watching, and Lynette Eason doesn't disappoint us with another intriguing story full of twists and turns to keep you enticed. Warning: I wasn't able to put Without Warning down until the very end where an unexpected villain was revealed! I would never have guessed it ...
The Elite Guardians series has a slight reversal of stereotypical gender roles with Katie, our protagonist, being the protector and restaurant owner Daniel the "protectee." The main characters must work together to figure out who is targeting Daniel and his restaurant. I enjoyed the fast pace of this romantic suspense novel, but there is enough building and moments between Katie and Daniel to make their relationship progress convincingly.
I eagerly await Maddy and Quinn's story, Moving Target, due to release in 2017 and look forward to more of Lynette Eason's books in the future!
